About

Too many wonderful works of fiction remain unseen. They collect dust in attics or are ferreted away in forgotten folders on cluttered hard drives. Every once in a while one will slip from the shadows of obscurity to inspire and excite the imagination. It is the Absent Willow Review's mission to shine a spotlight on these works so that eager and appreciative readers may enjoy them. It is our love for quality works of horror, fantasy, and science fiction that brought The Absent Willow Review into existence. We gave it life so that it could return the favor both to us and to its readers. So what is it that we are looking for? If you’re a writer of horror, fantasy, or science fiction, The Absent Willow Review would love to hear from you. If you’re a poet with a leaning towards the macabre or the fantastical, we would love to hear from you. Character driven, high-caliber fiction fuels our passion. With your help we can make The Absent Willow Review one of the premier sources for outstanding fiction in the horror, fantasy, and science fiction genre.
