About

Stitches was established in 1990 in the belief that although medicine is a serious business, it is best delivered with regular doses of smiles and laughter. Published bimonthly, Stitches believes that being a medical practitioner is not just about patients, hospitals, and clinics, but encompasses so much more. As a magazine targeting the medical community, Stitches is primarily looking for articles—fiction and non-fiction—with a medical angle, however, we will happily review material that discusses other subjects. Of primary importance is that the story is amusing or interesting, and for submissions that show promise, we will happily work with you to ensure that this is so.
