5923 Quarterly

This project is believed to be defunct. (October 2011)

About

5923 Quarterly is a new online literary magazine devoted to publishing well-written short fiction and poetry. We want to read engaging stories about characters who are worth telling stories about. We want to witness alchemy through poetry. Above all, we want to share these treasures with our readers.

Collapse section Fiction Believed Defunct

Stories with at least 2000 words have a better chance of being published. We seek well-written literary fiction, including stories that can be classified as experimental, slipstream, magic realism, bizarro, science fiction, or noir. We dislike stories that are overly quirky/cutesy/zany/gimmicky, but lack a story worth telling, lack characters worthy of a story.
