A great many are the result of inspiration taken from someone else’s art.Such art, termed ekphrastic, draws from, describes, commentates on, branches off of, enters into dialogue with, illuminates or acknowledges another’s work. This is what you’ll find in After...Each new and full moon brings an original poem that takes its cues, overtly or subtly, from some other work of art.
