About

Al Dente is a food journal produced and published by undergraduate students at the University of Alabama. Al Dente aims to emphasize the connection between food and place through various creative mediums such as visual art, poetry, essays, and even unusual recipes. For each submission we ask that writers identify a real world location to emphasize this connection.
