About Founded in 2002, Bayou Magazine is an annual literary magazine. We accept poetry, fiction, and fine art images. We also publish the winner of the annual Tennessee Williams One-Act Play Contest. Our mission is to present exceptional, original writing by both established and emerging writers.Writing that first appeared in Bayou Magazine has gone on to be published in collections.
