Blast This project is believed to be defunct. (December 2010) About Blast is a sturdy and discerning little literary magazine. Published biannually, it aims to provide space for high quality contemporary Australian poetry and other critical writing. Blast is serious about poetry and the magazine has already built a reputation for publishing poetry of the first rank. Blast does not set themes. The poems in Blast are varied in subject and form, from traditional through to experimental. In selecting poems for publication we are always convinced by quality.
