BTWN Magazine This project is believed to be defunct. (May 2025) About Our editor-in-chiefs, Delane and Aliza met while studying in the MFA in Writing program at the University of Saskatchewan. Both love to blend and bend genres in their own work and understand the struggle to find a space for genre fiction in a literary-fiction-dominated world. To solve this problem, they created BTWN (pronounced "between").At BTWN, we don't just publish genre fiction. We're looking for the "next" in writing. We want you, the artist, to challenge our notions of storytelling and what makes good storytelling. Think of BTWN as the publication breaking through the pavement in your fresh-paved driveway, a platform that not only celebrates diversity and creativity in the literary arts, but also inspires and encourages you to push the boundaries of your craft. So, there you have it. If you wanted to be entertained, you should have checked out our latest issue. But if you're a writer passionate about pushing boundaries and experimenting with different genres, BTWN might just be the platform you've been looking for.
