Caeneus Magazine This project is believed to be defunct. (September 2013) About Despite popular belief, we are all born into something. Some people are born into a position of oppression, some into a life of expectations in a life already planned out for us. With so many born each day, it is no wonder that so many struggle to transcend their situations, to reach up and pull themselves out of the life they were born in to. We are shaped by our experiences and the choices that we make. In science fiction, characters often must make choices to survive in the difficult environments they live. Caeneus Magazine is built off the idea that characters choose their own destiny and those characters can be more extraordinary than their circumstances. By only accepting fiction that pertains to feminist, LGBT, and cultural science fiction, Caeneus Magazine urges readers to explore new perspectives and even writers to challenge their understanding of the under represented people, settings, and cultures in science fiction. We are dedicated to creating a magazine that is enjoyable for all ages. We hope that in creating characters of different backgrounds, that you will be inspired to find the courage to face your own challenges and discover your destiny.
