About

Chimaera Serials is a speculative fiction webzine. We like the strange and unusual, stories that inspire, that force goosebumps or that twist our sense of reality. We are seeking to give writers who enjoy these styles another way to share their craft; and to become a source of great speculative fiction for our readers. Our focus is on fantasy, adventure, horror, dark fantasy and anything else that is speculative in nature. We seek out and publish stories that are written for adult readers, with a level of subtlety and complexity approprate for adult fans of these styles of writing. We are a bi-monthly publication, and each Issue will be filled with exciting new segments of our serial stories, along with book reviews, interviews with our writers, short stories, poetry, artwork and anything else we feel will contribute to the 'zine. Each segment will be offered on our site.
