About

Clay Bird Review is Swarthmore College’s one and only international literary magazine. We are committed to publishing works that we consider insightful, skilled, and in short, genius. Although we are affiliated with Swarthmore College, we publish work from anyone, anywhere in the world, as long as it is written in English. We publish a print issue biannually, typically containing ten poems, one short story, and five pieces of artwork. About half of the pieces in the issue relate to that issue’s theme.
