About

Collectanea is a spirited collection of writing and intra-artistic media. Each issue features both fiction and nonfiction, digital works, interviews with artists who work with other media and the literary and artistic forces that inspire them, and an author interview focusing on the craft of writing. Collectanea is dedicated to creating a forum where both emerging and veteran writers can share their work. Our hope is that here they will find support among those who possess an appreciation for the written word in its many forms and genres. We publish what we enjoy reading and hope that in the end, you will love it as much as we do. Our aim is to be literary, but unpretentious; talented, but modest; unique, but familiar. We are not trying to change the world, just brighten a small community, but if we do make a difference in the process of publishing great work. . .that’s quite all right by us.
