Concisely: stories under 500 words MATURE CONTENT Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About We’re the literary little guys. Four times a year we publish a small print magazine of stories under 500 words. Though they’re all under 500 words, the stories in Concisely are an eclectic mix. Our pages contain romance, humor, horror, fantasy, memoir, and more (but no ads). Our stories are hilarious, bittersweet, heartbreaking, and thought-provoking. Our writers include students, hobbyists, and professionals from around the world. And most issues feature at least one writer who’s never been published before.
