About

As Salvador Dali understood, all art is multi-faceted. Even his most surrealistic pieces contained a piece of truth, a piece of humanity. He knew that you could not have the absurd without the truth embedded somewhere inside. Good art makes you feel something. Staring at Dali’s painting, “The Persistence of Memory”, you feel something, you feel your own interpretation of what that painting means to you.The fragility of time, the distortion of memory, the frailty of life. It is our mission at Dali’s Lovechild to bring that two sided coin of art to you. On one side the surreal, the absurd, the darkness of imagination, and on the other side, humanity, struggle, dirt, and grime. This is why we are now publishing both surreal and realist work. After all, real life can be just as surreal and horrifying as the conjurations of the imagination.
