Dead Set: A Zombie Collection

Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive.

About

We don't want to be too restrictive about the zombie universe, but keeping your story within the bounds of general zombie lore will increase your chances (e.g., can only be killed by a head shot or by severing the spinal cord at the base of the head, must feed on human flesh, acts on killer instinct without conscious thought or reason, lumbers or staggers along with jerky movements, etc). Within the zombie universe, send in an entertaining story that you think the average reader will enjoy. Try to keep to setting contemporary, and the zombies should be humans that have died and through some event have now awakened to feed. [Proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.]
