About

Our ideas are based on the word 'Dorveille': (literary) A dreamlike semi-conscious state, such as while falling asleep or waking up, between periods of sleep, or from exhaustion; generally with reference to an altered mental state where there is no distinction between the fantastic and the familiar.

Dorveille Literary Magazine is interested in publishing prose, poetry, and creative non-fiction which has surreal, dream-like qualities that make the reader question what is going on, or anything that is experimental. ‘Dream-like’ doesn’t just have to apply to comfort; we love darker stories that leave readers disturbed.

Of course, as long as it fits the theme for the issue, anything goes — surprise us!
