About

Here at Erstwhile we’re a nostalgic bunch. We love old book shops, dusty attics, faded photographs, handwritten letters and the stories they contain. We want work that uses language beautifully but concisely and is enjoyable to read, although that doesn’t mean that it has to be happy. We particularly enjoy humour and themes of identity, relationships, travel, history, childhood and memory. Everyone has a story to tell, and we want to be the means through which your voice can be heard.
