About

Expanded Field is an English-language journal for creative writing and image/text experimentation. Established in 2017, by Dr. Erin La Cour. The journal publishes original works of prose, poetry, visual art, and other experimental works not easily classified within genre boundaries.
Under the direction of the student-led editorial board, located at the Department of Language, Literature, and Communication at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the journal offers an online and open-access platform for the exhibition of works from new to established, and national to international writers and artists.
