About

Fire In Machines Magazine is a new independent magazine dedicated to highlighting an assortment of writings. We are looking for short stories and poems from a wide array of fiction genres - from realistic fiction, to fantasy, to horror, to surrealism and so on. Quality is more important to us than genre at this point. We enjoy strange and experimental writings, and while we are a Christian Publication, the works within the magazine don't have to be overtly Christian. Some topics we would like to see touched on - whether clearly or subtly - include the busyness and pace of the modern era, struggles faced by people all around the world, the need to love our neighbors, etc. Those are just suggestions, and are by no means mandatory topics.
