Floyd County Moonshine

About

The mission of Floyd County Moonshine is to publish thought-provoking, well-crafted, freethinking, uncensored prose, poetry, and art. While we generally prefer literature of a local or regional flavor, we also publish works with a universal appeal from well-established and beginning writers from all around the country and all around the world. Over the years, we find that we gravitate towards an eclectic variety of writers including military veterans, incarcerated persons, repentant and reformed attorneys, the Amish, and various schools of academics. Floyd, Virginia and local Appalachian authors are given priority consideration.
