About

Directed by students at Claremont Graduate University, Foothill is an annual print and online poetry journal that features the work of emerging poets enrolled in graduate programs around the world. The journal is sponsored by the School of Arts and Humanities at CGU, which is also home to the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award and Kate Tufts Discovery Award.
As the Kingsley & Kate Tufts Poetry Awards honor and support poets ascending the difficult beginning and middle summits of their careers, Foothill promotes those still laboring through the apprenticeship of graduate study.
