Gas Lamp A project of Gothic City Press (see other related projects). Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About From the glow of a lone gas lamp comes a collection of flash fiction destined to catch your attention then melt into the darkness like a fleeting shadow. It may be a whole story or perhaps just enough of a scene to capture your imagination and leaving you begging for more. The plan is to post a new story every week, but if we have something really good come in, we'll post more. Country of Publication United States Publication Medium & Frequency Electronic Publication Electronic PublicationPublished 52 x per year Fiction Closed Flash Fiction of just about any genre, though we are looking for things that have a certain level of darkness to them. We also tend to favor things of a speculative nature, sci-fi, fantasy, supernatural, folklore, weird west, and the like as long as the embrace "Gothic" and "City" (think Jekyll and Hyde).Audience:UnknownGenres: Open to all/most Genres, including: Fantasy Open to all/most Subgenres, including: Dark Fantasy, Gothic, Supernatural, Weird Western Horror Open to all/most Subgenres, including: Dark Fantasy, Gothic, Horror Western, Supernatural Science Fiction Open to all/most Subgenres, including: Weird WesternLengths: Flash Fiction: Up to 1,000 words.Styles:Open to all/most Styles, including: Dark.Topics:None found.Payment:No monetary payment No monetary payment.Submissions:Method: Electronic submissions.
