Genuine Gold: A Literary Journal A project of Indiana Pizza Club This project is believed to be defunct. (March 2024) About Genuine Gold is a literary magazine that strives to publish high-quality, yet unpretentious, poems, short stories, and essays. For the first issue of our magazine, we only accepted work from Indiana writers. Going forward, writers from anywhere in the world are encouraged to submit work for publication. The magazine is produced with the help of The Indiana Pizza Club, so obviously we are wild about pizza. (It is the greatest food in the world.) However this magazine is dedicated to other passions of ours – great fiction, unique poetry, and thought-provoking essays. Even though the social media reach and website of The Indiana Pizza Club function to support this magazine, we have no specific interest in poems or stories about pizza. In fact, we aren’t particularly interested at all in pieces that deal with our favorite food. (We know that’s weird!) Instead, we’re looking for poems of any length, short stories, and pitches for essays that reflect creativity and unique perspectives on life.
