About

The Han Bando Review is a literary journal based in Korea and attentive to the wider world. We publish essays, fiction, poetry, interviews, and visual work that reward attention and invite a deeper way of reading.

The journal was founded out of a belief that literature and art still matter. More than just commentary or content, slower forms of attention grant ways of encountering reality more fully. In a culture shaped by speed and fragmentation, we are drawn to work that is thoughtful, reflective, and enduring.
