Heimat Review

About

At Heimat Review, our mission is to provide a home for poetry, prose, and art. We believe that language—narratives, questions, and reflections—offers a vibrant way to explore where we come from, where we are, and where we hope to be.

Heimat (home) is not just a location. It is the place of being, where we find the center of ourselves. It is the moment in time when we reflect on where we are—on who we are—and on where we hope to be. In the spirit of that reflection, Heimat Review offers a place for writers and artists to tell the stories of their homes, their communities, their histories and their futures.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • Be professional, patient, and persistent.
