History Ireland About History Ireland, first launched in 1993, is Ireland’s largest dedicated history magazine. It was taken over by the Wordwell Group in 2003 and, under the editorship of Tommy Graham, has been going from strength to strength over that time.Each issue of History Ireland covers a wide variety of topics, from the earliest times to the present day, in an effort to give the reader a sense of the distant past but also to offer a contemporary edge. Every article is illustrated with photographs, maps or paintings to provide a deep insight of the topic.
