I Know What I Saw: Poems of the Unexplained A project of Omnium Gatherum (see other related projects). Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions. We provide the following information as an archive. About I Know what I Saw is a poetry anthology focusing on the paranormal and the unexplained. Think The X-Files; think The Outer Limits. Maybe even think the highly underrated early 90s docudrama show Sightings. We want poetry based on a variety of unexplained and controversial phenomena: UFOS, ghosts, cryptozoology, demonic possession, past lives, documented myths, alien abductions, creatures of folklore, and the like. We’re even looking for the extremely “out there” so long as it is not your own creation. While we are willing to consider anything within these realms, please steer away from basic horror fiction staples. We do not want poems about vampires. We’re not keen on werewolves either, although, the Native American legend of the Skinwalker would be acceptable. Mothman, The Wendingo, Bigfoot, The Jersey Devil and their ilk are the closest to “monsters” we will accept. If you're uncertain about your subject matter, feel free to send us an e-mail and ask.
