About Imaginarium is a start-up speculative fiction publication, published by students at the University of California, Berkeley. We embrace any and all kinds of imaginative fiction that stretch the boundaries of reality and perception, as well as pushing the limits of standard form. We are looking for stories ranging from classic Science Fiction and Fantasy to alternative history, surrealism, mythology, horror, absurdism, and everything in between, in as inventive a way you can imagine. We accept submissions from the general public, not just Berkeley students, and there is no preferential treatment of one group over the other. Imaginarium is published bi-annually, and is available electronically and in a limited print edition. We publish short fiction, chapter excerpts, poetry, art, comic strips, and non-fiction.
