About

Intentional Walk is the only literary journal devoted to the poetry of sports–competition, practice, spectatorship, and following them from afar. From antiquity to the present, we’re interested in anything that involves competition and/or recreation–from yoga to boxing, checkers to basketball. No restrictions as to form or style, and we take a broad view of “sports”–children or adults, professionals or amateurs, participants or fans, we’re interested in all of it.
