Jelly Squid is a pnw-based online literary magazine that showcases emerging writers and artists. Based in Washington state and founded in April 2024, we're a triannual magazine with the goal of fostering a creative space that houses unique voices.

We like flash fiction, autofiction, character studies, weird fiction, etc... any kind of work that has something to say without trying to force it. We like stories that care more about expressing something unique and noteworthy than following a linear plot or a clear narrative. We do not, however, accept science fiction or high fantasy, but we are happy to accept pieces with sci-fi or fantasy elements.
