About

Lonesome October Lit is a horror webzine for poetry as well as short fiction. The founding editor felt there was a lack of space out there for horror poems in a market flooded with mainstream literary venues and homes for genre prose fiction. So while we welcome short stories, we particularly look forward to being dazzled, disgusted, and terrified with macabre poetry. (Hence the title being lovingly ripped from Edgar Allan Poe’s poem ‘Ulalume’.)
