About

Mad Rush is an online zine and an annual print magazine. The mission statement is simple: publish the best work, period. Politics, degrees, styles, genres, schools – they don’t matter here. Whether you’re an old pro or just starting out, an underground lifer or MFAer, all are welcome and encouraged to submit work. You can be dark, strange, kinky, funny, experimental, or serious. Show me fire. Show me passion. Show me something new. No limits, so don’t hold back. Also, don’t be dull or pretentious. Mad Rush accepts poetry, flash fiction, and anything in between, as well as art, reviews, commentary, excerpts from unpublished or forthcoming books, or YouTube clips of yourself reading your work.
