Moxy Magazine About Moxy [is] one of the UK’s first creative nonfiction magazines. The idea for a magazine dedicated to publishing creative nonfiction first came to us in winter 2018. In a conversation about the increasing popularity of autofiction, Christina commented how it seemed strange that there wasn’t a literary magazine devoted to such hybrid forms. Both of us love Ryszard Kapuscinski, Teju Cole, Svetlana Alexievich, and Oliver Sacks, among others, for playing with form, voice, style, and narrative, while also introducing us to topics we previously knew nothing about, and we were frustrated that there wasn’t a place we could go to reliably encounter new writing in this vein. Over many months of stops and starts, we have honed the image and mission of Moxy, and are proud to present you with the magazine’s website.
