About

Straight out of steel mill country, the Northwest Indiana Literary Journal publishes short stories, flash fiction, poetry, humor, photography, and art. As an online literary journal that emerged from a working class, blue-collar community just outside of Chicago, it favors authenticity and directness. Leave your pretensions in the frunchroom. We strive to be a platform for writers and artists of all stripes but have a soft spot for Rust Belt- or industrial-themed work. It publishes frequently in a blog-like fashion.
