About

Packingtown Review was founded in 2007 at the University of Illinois at Chicago by a group of Ph.D., and it relaunched in 2013 as an independent online journal. The annual journal features poetry, fiction and nonfiction prose, comics, book reviews, short plays, as well as visual art and video and audio pieces. Packingtown Review publishes established and emerging US-American and international writers as well as English translations of contemporary and classic works, especially from lesser-known languages.
