Reformed Journal About Our purpose is to publish Christian writing that delights readers and engages the world in a Reformed way. The Reformed Journal was published from 1951 to 1990 by Eerdman’s and originally drew authors and readers primarily from the Christian Reformed Church. The mantle was then passed to Perspectives: A Journal of Reformed Thought, originally sponsored by the Reformed Church in America. Perspectives started an online presence with the introduction of The Twelve blog in 2011. Today’s digital Reformed Journal is not affiliated with any denomination or institution, but stands on the shoulders of both the original Reformed Journal and Perspectives.
