Sap Zine was born in 2022 out of a desire to connect with queerness and sexuality in a tangible format. Something you can hold in your hand, pass around to your friends, and show off in public.
Sold right here online and at zine fairs across Victoria, Sap aims to bring people together and fight shame with pure, literary pleasure. Because you deserve a well-written wank.
Sap Zine celebrates queer sex in all its messy, sweaty, detail – resisting the sanitisation of queer identities and the violence of mainstream pornography. It is human and nature, inherently anti-AI and anti-algorithm. We are not on social media and will not post the zine online to be fed into a large language model used to devalue the work of artists everywhere.
