About

Margo, Claire, and Allison got together in the dorm one night at 3am in the beautiful state of Iowa and decided that the state of the writing community simply wasn’t fair. Everywhere on the internet, youth literary magazines and online reviews were popping up, yet they only accepted work from students aged 13-22. Upon reminiscing about their writing journeys, Margo, Claire, and Allison recalled a universal growth spurt they experienced as writers when their passion for the art was developing back in elementary and middle school. They wished there could have been a place to show off their amazing poems and stories. They decided to form Seesaw Lit to help other students who might wish to share the work they had created with the broader writing community as well as receive feedback.
