slips slips

About

slips slips is a new print-only art and literary publication that aspires to build a community of voices on paper. It launched in spring 2025 in a broadsheet format that takes inspiration from the stacked cacophony of 19th-century newspapers, the underground press of the 1960s, and the DIY serendipity of the early Internet. The result is a sprawling world of words and images that thrive outside the slick cynicism of profit-driven tech. You never know what you might find in slips slips, and we aim to keep it that way.

Duotrope listings do not imply endorsement or recommendation of the project being listed. Before submitting, you should use your own judgment to determine whether the project meets your standards.

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
