The Autumn Sound Review

This project is believed to be defunct. (May 2014)

About

The Autumn Sound is a fledgling publication that is independently run and owned. TAS builds upon an idea, an image of a calm, crisp autumn day, one that provides for stillness and meditation. The ‘autumn sound’ is different for everyone, and we’d like to explore those differences. Through stillness and repose, through inspiration and spirituality, we can reach something within ourselves, something vast and enlightening, something beyond what we are and what we aspire to be. And somewhere in the gap between the loud, caustic world and the deep tranquility of our souls lies all of our personal truths, realizations, wishes, desires. TAS seeks works that reflect an idea, a feeling, a truth, a lie, a passion, anything that has been derived from a self-induced mode of consciousness, i.e. meditation, soul-searching, etc. These works should mean something to the writer and should explore that meaning; these works should be a piece of the author. You’ve created something; explore why you’ve created it, why it means something to you. Let yourself be scared or vulnerable. The ‘autumn sound’ is something calm, something deep, something incredible. Discover it and share it. Learn something about yourself and share it. Embrace it. It’s you.
