The Electronic Monsoon Magazine

This project is believed to be defunct. (October 2013)

About

the electronic monsoon magazine picks up where the little online journal of poetry & pictures, poet’Picturebook, left off. Monsoon continues to welcome contributions of poetry, poetry about art (ekphrasis), painting, photography, digital creations, as well as essays & reviews. Aiming to be more inclusive, the magazine takes full inspiration from its origins—the tropic season of wind and rain, and its charged atmosphere—while functioning fully as a digital medium. Poetry and art, therefore, that partake of wind and water, the pliant bamboo and the long-stemmed rice swaying in the air that crackles, are the sort of stuff we want.
