The Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review About The Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review is the second longest continuously-run poetry journal in the United States. It is one of only about a dozen magazines nationwide devoted solely to poetry. While we have published the work of many well-known and well-published authors, we are as open to the new writer as to the established one. Though by no means a regional journal, The Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review is especially interested in publishing the work of southern writers (define that as you will).
