The Journal of Transport History publishes academic research papers based on archival evidence, oral testimony and images. Typically, contributing scholars write from the perspective of disciplines such as Anthropology, Architecture, Economics, Engineering, Geography, History, Law, Planning, Politics and Sociology. Contributions are welcomed from researchers whose work is grounded in cross-cutting issues such as cities, countryside, culture, design, environment, gender, labour, literature, mobility and visualisation.
