The People’s Friend is DC Thomson’s flagship title and the longest-running women’s weekly magazine in the world.
First gracing newsagents’ shelves on 13 January 1869, the magazine has an ever-rising subscription base and is loved and trusted all around the world, with readers in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
For more than 150 years, we have produced content each week that reflects our loyal readers’ lives whilst retaining the traditional family values The People’s Friend was built on.
