About

The Underpass Review is an online literary zine published quarterly that doesn’t care for the assumed hierarchy of the literary world.. Every issue will be in response to a particular theme or prompt. We aren’t the place to send your prized possessions or the dedications to your recently passed grandparent. We are the home for those primal, degenerate instincts that you have while writing, but ignore because you know it isn’t “good enough” for the lit mag you’re aiming for. You know what we mean? That moment where you want your protagonist to declare “Anything is possible!” because he’s actually Kevin Garnett and though this isn’t the 2008 NBA Finals, he’s just solved a Rubik’s Cube while riding the Mega Bus to a Trump Rally where he plans to launch a spear at Sarah Palin? No? Well maybe this isn’t the place for you.
