About

The Wanderlust Review is a literary journal published periodically both in print and online. Content is submission-based, categorized by non-fiction, fiction, poetry, drama, photography, and artwork. All content relates to the theme of travel and journeying. Whether the piece explores the winding markets of Marrakesh, a long lonely road in Wyoming, or the journey from friendship to love in New York, it has a home here. Though we might not all be able to travel as much as we’d like, the Wanderlust Review serves as a place where writers, artists, and thinkers can share their stories with each other and the general public in hopes of satiating their ‘impulse toward wandering’ – if only for the time being.

We prefer free verse, but welcome form poems if they are well executed and adhere to the general thematic guideline of travel. We tend not to publish poems with rhyming patterns, though near rhymes and witty or affecting rhymes within free verse poems are acceptable. We are looking for poems that use descriptive language to evince fresh and original imagery.
