The Zen Space

About

The Zen Space is an English-language showcase for writings the roots and essence of which is zen. The starting-point is haiku, but the journey will probably go through other places. There is no need to define zen or haiku or discuss them or argue about them – many words have been wasted in that way. There is a short essay on haiku on the essence page, but that will be enough. The contents of the pages may flow, rather than change regularly like issues of a magazine; they may renew, sometimes circling the same place, sometimes exploring somewhere new, sometimes delighting to find a familiar sight. Or they may coalesce into something more formal.

The editors may not respond to all submissions. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, assume your submission will not be accepted.
