Permanently Closed: This project is permanently closed to submissions (December 2017). We provide the following information as an archive.

About

Tiny Donkey is a journal of short-form, fairy-tale nonfiction focused on, but not limited to, undergraduate writing. Tiny Donkey essays draw on stories, scholarship, pop culture, and lived experience to deliver thoughtful commentary on fairy, folk and wonder tales in the 21st century. Tiny Donkey was founded in 2015 as an off-shoot project of Fairy Tale Review, an annual literary journal dedicated to publishing new fairy tales and to helping raise public awareness of fairy tales as a diverse, innovative art form.
