Tir Literary Magazine

This project is on indefinite hiatus. Check their site to find out whether this is a submission and/or publication hiatus. (June 2026)

About

Tir is an international English-language literary magazine founded in 2025.

Discovering short fiction is often difficult. Most literary magazines publish on independent websites with slim margins, frequently trapping their fiction behind paywalls. This lack of discoverability makes it difficult for short fiction readers to find, or afford to read, excellent fiction.

Tir is designed to help bridge this gap. While we host text versions of our stories, we also publish them weekly on all major podcast platforms. Millions of people listen to audiobooks and fiction podcasts daily. Bringing our literature magazine to the podcasting world allows us to meet readers where they already are -- both established fans and new readers.

Voluntary Fees: This project accepts voluntary fees for "tip jar" submissions and expedited responses.
