About

Virga is rain that takes some cloud down with it–precipitation with parachute. Virga is also a poetry journal. Here, we hope to publish poems that take some of the sky down to the page. Our tastes are eclectic, but we would like to see poems that demonstrate what we’ve called the “Three E’s:” Elegance, Empathy, Experimentation. This is to say, we want content that is well-crafted, that pays reverent attention to detail; content that keeps humanity at its center; content that innovates.
